The RACHAEL LEAHCAR SHADOWS TOUR will showcase Rachael’s dynamic range and explosive vocals which have been smashing television audience records since she first appeared on Australia’s The Voice in 2012. With a career that has taken her across the globe, seen three Top 10 ARIA charting albums and a cabaret show about her life, Rachael is excited to unleash new original music from her latest album, Shadows, with a string of live shows across her home country of Australia.
Three years of writing, recording, hard work and love; the RACHAEL LEAHCAR SHADOWS TOUR marks her transformation from a shy teen on television to a strong young woman. sadness, a frenzy of notes from frustration or elation and a spattering of words from love or heartbreak. I write songs to connect with people and help them through each phase of life, as music has always helped me. Featuring snatches from various genres, I feel I have found my true voice, and I want to share it far and wide.

Rachael Leahcar has the charming ability to hold an audience in the palm of her hand with emotional, captivating moments one minute, and turn it around to singing and dancing along in fun the next. With her signature, hauntingly-beautiful, vocals, Rachael will reveal her journey through life, previously unseen in the shadows.
Rachael has released three successful albums since 2012. Shooting Star (Gold status), shot to no. 5 on the ARIA charts after its release following Australia’s The Voice where 4.1 million people were watching her audition alone, breaking Australian TV records. Rachael worked with producer Bryon Jones (Guy Sebastian; Shannon Noll; Jessica Mauboy) to release her second studio album with Universal, Romantique, which debuted at no. 10 on the ARIA charts. Her 2014 album, Here Comes the Sun, secured the no. 1 spot on the ARIA Classical/Crossover chart with its raw emotion and mesmerising renditions of some of Beatles classics.
ng Guns ‘n’ Roses, Cyndi Lauper, Elle King and Taylor Swift as well as Rachael’s brand new single ‘Beware the Wolf’ and a world-first live performance of a few of her own original songs. Supported by her incredible live band, Rachael will have you dancing and singing your heart out!
“On this album, you’ll discover a collection of memories, stories and pieces of me. I wrote most of them on my beloved piano or guitar, and recorded the vocals at my home studio provided by Greg and Ingrid (ma and pa). A smile worn in happiness, a tear fallen in sadness, a frenzy of notes from frustration or elation and a spattering of words from love or heartbreak. I write songs to connect with people and help them through each phase of life, as music has always helped me.
