ACCLAIMED SINGER-SONGWRITER LIOR PERFORMS TWO INTIMATE SHOWS FOR QMF AND NOOSA ALIVE!
Renowned for his beautiful voice and exquisite compositions, Lior burst onto the Australian music scene in 2005 with his stunning Aria-nominated debut album Autumn Flow. Since then he’s toured the world, collaborated with Nigel Westlake on the song cycle “Compassion”, written for the theatre, performed in the musical Fiddler on the Roof and penned the closing theme to ABC Kids’ show Giggle and Hoot. Now with his fifth studio album set to be released, this seasoned performer, alongside a string quartet, will serenade audiences with stunning songs that radiate truth and sincerity .

Join BPO in a journey through a kaleidoscope of musical colour and symphonic favourites. From the Spanish rhythms of Ravel’s brilliant Boléro, the spectacle of Borodin’s exotic Polovtsian Dances, to the world premiere of a sparkling new flute concerto by Lisa Cheney. The concert concludes with Mussorgsky’s masterpiece of musical imagery, Pictures at an Exhibition.
